What is Protegon?

Protegon helps you run authorized security scans on targets you control, review findings in a structured report, track changes over time, and manage usage under your plan.

• You are new to the product and want a clear picture before your first scan.
• You need to explain the product to a teammate or client.

1. Step 1 — Know the core loop

   Verify a domain when required, start a scan from New scan, wait for completion, then open the report to prioritize findings and follow the action plan.

2. Step 2 — Use review tools when you iterate

   After several scans, use History, Compare, and Proof of fix to see what changed and to verify remediations.

3. Step 3 — Stay within authorization

   Only scan systems you own or are explicitly allowed to test. The rail reminder Authorized targets only applies to every scan.

• Protegon is not a compliance attestation, a certification, or a full penetration test.
• Some advanced pages (Schedule, Compare, Proof of fix, Agency) depend on your environment’s scan engine. If a page says the feature is not available yet, see Feature not available.
• Your plan and remaining quotas appear in the left rail and on Billing.
