Proof of fix
Run a verification rescan from a completed baseline scan.
What it is for
Proof of fix starts a verification scan against a completed baseline to help confirm that fixes landed, then links you to a verification report and history.
When to use it
- Developers claim a finding is fixed and you want a verification pass.
- You want a dedicated verification entry in History.
How to do it
Step 1 — Open Proof of fix
Go to Proof of fix in the Review group (or use the Proof of fix link from History).
Step 2 — Choose a baseline
Select a completed baseline scan. Agency filters only affect the picker on this page.
Step 3 — Run verification
Click Run proof-of-fix, wait for completion, then open View verification report or View in history.
Good to know
- Verification scans appear with a Verification badge in History.
- If the page is stubbed on your environment, see Feature not available.
Common problems
Run proof-of-fix stays unavailable.
Pick a completed baseline, Refresh the page, and confirm the feature is enabled on your environment.
