Domains and verification
List, add, and manage verified hostnames for your scanning perimeter.
What it is for
The Domain page lists verified hosts for your account, lets you add new ones, remove some entries, filter by agency when relevant, and open scans for a host.
When to use it
- You onboard a new hostname.
- You need to confirm which hosts are in your verified perimeter.
How to do it
Step 1 — Open Domain
Go to Domain in the Account group.
Step 2 — Add or verify
Click Add domain and follow DNS TXT or HTTPS file instructions, then Check verification now.
Step 3 — Review the list
Use agency filters (All, Unassigned, Clear) when you organize work by Agency. Open View scans for a host, or Remove when allowed.
Good to know
- Engine-verified domains may not be removable from this screen.
- If verified domains are required in your environment, scans to unverified hosts are rejected.
Common problems
I cannot remove a domain.
If the UI explains that engine-verified domains cannot be removed here, keep the entry or ask your administrator.
